 Joseph Ulrich

Residency: Mid-1960's

Joe was a well-known chef in our area for many years and his soups were very popular. He was a chef at Molgaard's Indian Lodge when he first came here. Later, he purchased and operated Coco Joe's restaurant until he sold it to Charlie DeSmit. After selling the restaurant, he worked in various area supper clubs through the year, then was employed as a chef at Golden Pines Supper Club (Molgaard's Indian Lodge).  When he started working at Golden Pines, he said "I've made a complete circle!"  He worked here for several years, then moved out of our area. His present location is unknown.
